Terms of Use

Last updated: October 4, 2026

These terms explain the rules for using CVFI, a tool that provides automated feedback to help students improve CVs for internship applications. By using CVFI, you agree to these terms.

CVFI lets you submit a CV and receive automated feedback, including a score, strengths, areas to improve, and suggested examples. The service is intended as a practical aid for preparing internship applications.

You must be legally allowed to use CVFI where you are. You may submit only information you have the right to share, and you must not use the service to break the law, interfere with the site, or attempt to access its systems or data without permission.

Do not upload another person's CV or personal information unless you have their permission.

You keep your rights to the CV you submit. You allow CVFI and the providers supporting the service to process it only as needed to generate and deliver the analysis.

CVFI's feedback is automatically generated and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Review every suggestion and make your own decisions before changing your CV or submitting an application. CVFI does not guarantee interviews, internships, employment, a particular score, or any other result.

CVFI is an informational writing aid, not professional, recruitment, or legal advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of your CV and application materials.

CVFI is currently offered free of charge. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service to maintain or improve it. We do not promise that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from errors.

The CVFI website, branding, and software are owned by CVFI or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial CV preparation. You may copy or adapt suggestions generated for your own applications, but you may not copy, resell, or redistribute the site or service itself without permission.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CVFI is provided as is and as available, without warranties that the analysis will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

To the extent permitted by law, CVFI is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Any liability that cannot be excluded by law remains unaffected.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use CVFI. Please read it before uploading a CV.

We may revise these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. If you have a question about these terms, contact the CVFI team using the contact details provided on the CVFI website.
